Ok, I have seen a thread about Riverview Grande Apartments, but wanted to get some new information about the place. Tell me everything you know, including what your utilities looked like in a 2 br place if you lived in one. Please help!

Thanks!

My son lived there in 2007. When he signed up, a pretty rental management person told him he'd absolutely love it. It was being promoted as an alternative to the dorms at UTC, with swimming pools, a work out room, a bridal room and cook outs. The reality was there were alot of families and older folks there. Not quite the college atmosphere he had hoped for. A year and a half later, bored with the place, he moved out.
On the positive side, it is a great commute to the Downtown area. It seemed pretty safe and for the most part, quiet. The electric bill was very reasonable. The apartment was freshly painted and the carpeting new. A nice sliding door was also added while he was there.
There were some college students staying there, but they were quiet and usually in bed by 12. Depends what you're looking for.

My husband and I are looking into renting an apartment here. I see this post in a couple of years old. Does anyone have a more recent review? We will be bringing our dog and two small children 3 years and 6 months of age.

So, where else have you looked?

We haven't actually looked anywhere yet. We are moving from out-of-state and will be flying up to spend two days looking at places. Do you have recommendations?

There is a brand new complex called City Green between Red Bank and N Chatt. I would look there.

I lived in the Villas at Riverview Grand. Good managment, safe, near everything. Rent is expensive unless you've got a roommate, it was for me anyways. Right now you're looking at $929 a month, water is an additional $20. Overall the villas were nice but i've heard bad things about the rest of the place.

Same price but nearby you have City Green, Hayden Place, and Windridge, all out near signal mountain
