How is the Old Stone Crossing subdivision? What are alternative schools for this neighborhood besides James Martin Middle School.

University Meadows. I moved out of that neighborhood almost 4 years ago. It seemed to be going downhill which is why I left, but I've driven through there over the years and it does not appear to be any worse than when I left. They had to kick obnoxious residents out of the pool area. It just seemed to be getting worse as the development was built out. Perhaps some current residents can weigh in.

I think that area has a lot of potential - with the proximity to 485, The school situation pulls its down, but in Charlotte, you can never tell about the schools from year to year. It looks like the BOE is going to be looking at boundaries, so they might get moved.

As far as alternatives to James Martin. Possible Magnets are Randolph, Piedmont and Marie G. Davis. Cannon school, Hickory Grove Baptist, and Northside are private schools in the area with middle schools. There is also Carolina International Charter school in Harrisburg.

Davis.
