How is parking at the South Blvd station in the mornings? I will tend to arrive around 9am so I'm guessing most of the prime parking will be gone... But I heard that they're allowing use of some of the other business lots that are close?

Thanks

I've never been there and not been able to find a parking spot myself. But there are a few buisness' near by, maybe you could call and ask if they support overflow parking.

I don't think you'd have a problem at 9AM but it will be pretty full at that time. The only time I've ever seen the lot completely full was when they had that Zig Zigler event at Time Warner and everyone and their mama took the Lynx.

DH says the furthest South stop is full by 8am some days. He gets there by 6:30am most days but if he goes late, after 8am, he has to keep driving North.

Thanks Dawn - I heard this from someone else. There's eventually parking as you go North and each station has free lots.

If one can survive Ronkonkoma, it should be doable for me.

Scaleybark is the furthest station north that has a parking lot. There are a few spots on the street around the East Blvd station, but not many.

I've been riding Lynx for two years - CATS badly overestimated the lot size they would need for Archdale, Tryon, and Woodlawn stations. They don't fill up even when there is a Panthers game.

Scaleybark is a large lot too, but it seems to be well used. It's about 2/3 full during the day.

I park at Arrowood most of the time, it is usually about 1/2 full.

Sharon Road West station has the smallest parking lot, and it regularly fills up.
