Looking for craft shows, native american pow wows, interesting places to visit and shop. Would like to find places where I can sell, ceramics, watercolor paintings, and mosaics I have made. School is out in two weeks and I want to have my summer busy going and doing and experiencing. Please send suggestions, ideas, places, and groups or individuals to go with!!
If you're wanting a show around Charlotte, there's one called something like 'Etsy Crafting Patch' which l think is pretty good size... and I think that they're still open for reserving booths & it's in October (Team Etsy » North Carolina Etsy Street Team Call For Vendors!).
If you'd be up for a drive to Winston-Salem, the last Saturday in September is a great show in the park around Cricket's Nest & booths are only ~$12 (Index).
There's one in October that's listed on Raleigh's Craig's list under Arts & Crafts. I don't know much about it, but I did speak to the organizer's husband an application is in the mail to me.
Depending on what kind of craft you do, you may want to join Charlotte Craft Mafia. They just had a craft show off Central Ave and join together when major festivals are around.
That sounds like fun... do you by chance know of a Raleigh group like that?
