Looking for something different for the kids to do. I've heard about this place, but never been there.

I'm not interested in the flea market portion (saw some posts on that), just the playground area for the kids. Has anyone have any reviews of that area? Looks pretty fun for them I guess..

Plaza Fiesta Carolinas - Playground (http://www.plazafiestacarolinas.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=105&Item id=58 - broken link)

If someone who's been to the playground, would the kids like it?

thanks

Yes, kids love it. We've been to a few birthday parties there, and the kids 5 and under have a ball. Older kids get bored after a while.

I have wanted to go there for a long time to try the food court. I heard they have some good ceviche and tacos.

The playground is insane. It's probably the equivalent of 4 stories in the air, maybe higher. Tons of slides, foamy obstacles, cargo nets, you name it.
My two love it there.

The playground does look really cool for the kids and the whole thing kind of has this Little Havana look to it.

I went there once to see what the place was about. I figure that was more than enough for me.

Jack,
I've been there. Saw the play area and it looked pretty nice. I don't have kids though. However, I would recommend taking them there just because I think it would be a great cultural experience. I love the International Festival UNCC has, where they have the vendors from all different countries. So I was surprised to see Plaza Fiesta pretty much had a permenant set up like that, with vendor booths from different hispanic countries selling all types of interesting stuff. To me its a very nice place to visit.

That place is lot of fun... but make sure to bring your hand sanitizer. Everytime we go, some one picks up a runny nose...

Well, all I can say is that the kids had an awesome time. The playground area was fun for them and it was extremely cheap IMO ($2 per kid for 45 minutes on the wknds). Be careful of the arcade right next door. That is very expensive IMO and where they get you...

All in all, a good time and would go back.
