I'd recommend Aamco in Matthews for transmissions. We've gone to Aamco for a couple different things and they've always been on the up-and-up honest side of things. Definitely appreciate those guys.

However, note that their wait times can be ridiculous on occasion (they had our Dodge Neon for a week to replace the timing belt & water pump) AND do not trust their website for hours and info. The hours on the website do not match when these guys are actually open, so always call first.

Right now I see a coupon on their website for $100 off transmissions... Check it out.

I have a friend that worked at this location for a long time and went out on his own. He fixes transmissions (and everything else) for much less than they do. DM me if you're interested.
