Any Harwood Landing KB owners? I just put a deposit on one of the last lots there.

Hey, glad I happened across this. We moved into Harwood Landing in September, and have enjoyed every minute of it. The neighborhood is quiet, the kids are controlled and don't act a fool, and we feel we made a great decision by buying here.

The house has been as close to perfect as one can expect in tract buildings, and we've really only had the basic settling issues every new home has. KB has been pretty forthcoming with help, service and information, and of course, it helps that we drop by the sales office from time to time and get to know more about the company.

Let me know if I can be of any help. My email is kymbesha@carolina.rr.com, in case I don't pass thru this forum very often (which I don't).

I have to jump in here. For most of bad press that KB gets. Most people seem happy with them which I think is a good thing because these are real experiences.

Instead of the He said and She saids.

I agree. There are always the horror stories and that's what we always see on the news, but in general, tract building is what it is, and KB puts out a good product. We considered a few different builders, and got a much better feel from KB as far as customer service and response. KB is also one of the few builders that actively attempts to control investment properties; although you can't eliminate it totally, they sniff out investors and discourage them from buying their houses. As of today, we only have one investment in Harwood Landing.
