Some of you may have followed Melissa Greer's story - discovered she had a rare form of cancer during her pregnancy. So sad to hear that she has lost her battle with cancer.

If you look at the link that marvinnative provided...there is a place down towards the bottom of the page where thoughts and prayers are being rec'd. I am sure the family could really use that right now.

I got a call this morning from an old co-worker with the news as I had known her as an aquaintance when I was in the broadcasting business. There is a fund set up if anyone would like to contribute to the Melissa and Connor (her newborn) Polsky (her married name) fund. Go to the wbtv website.

As PP said, horrible week.

The wbtv.com website has a good tribute page to her. So sorry for her family.

I know this week has been awful and now this. I had been following her story for months and I was really hoping she would beat this thing. She was so young and a new mom too. My prayers go out to her husband and family
