I was wondering if anybody uses CT Communications for phone service.

Are they any good/bad better or worse than Bell South?

What is there customer service like?

We do! They have been very responsive when we have had issues, and we have had many (we are in new construction, so we have had the line cut multiple times) They are a very friendly company- from the service folks that installed the phone and DSL, to the customer service people. We've not had any negative people yet. Even the guys that came out to bury the line in the yard were nice, and actually corrected a problem we had with our business line that we didn't know about!

I actually like them better than Bellsouth because Bellsouth is soooo huge. I get a much better feeling from CTC- a real person answers the phone when you call LOL.

We didn't have a choice of phone though- they have quite a monopoly on the service here in Concord

We have CTC and we are in Indian Trail. Don't know how we got them but we had no choice. We are in the same boat as the previous poster, new construction. Our first week here we had our line cut every day and it was fixed every day in no time at all. Lately we have had no problems at all. The only downfall was the first couple bills were quite high just getting established but by the third they are pretty competitive with the other phone companies. I would definately pick them over Bell South
