Ok, I have been searching around the country for a nice town to settle down in and raise a family. I am a nurse and hubby is going to Culinary college, so we are professionals and would work in Charlotte, most likely. We like the outdoors and can have fun doing various activities. We love food, music and sporting events. I am looking into Fort Mill, SC for their excellent schools for our children. Can anyone tell me which subdivisions are nice in Fort Mill? We want to spend $250,000 or less on a home. Thank you!

Dominion Bridge might be an option. Fairly rural (compared to what I'm used to!!) Almost done building, but prices have dropped so most of the homes their should be within your 250k budget.

There are some active listings in Baxter Village, Fair Oaks, Spicewood, Waterstone, Knightsbridge, And a few others. You should be able to find something that works for you. Have your realtor set up a search for you to e-mail you listings.

I work in Fort Mill, SC and I live in Concord, NC. It's about a 35 minute drive (without traffic). I workvery close to Carowinds. It's very close to Carolina Place Mall and is just a lovely place.
