Does anyone have any good recommendations for Easter Brunch in the Charlotte area besides Ballantyne Resort? I love the resort but we are going with a few people that may be turned off by the $$$. TIA

A similar but much less expensive alternative is the Grandover Resort in Greensboro. I'll leave it to you to decide if you think it's worth the trip.

You might want to try Villa Antonio right across the street

Actually, last year, my son & I had a delicious lamb dinner at Big Ben English pub near to Presbyterian Hospital. It was less than $20.00. Not a super-posh atmosphere, but, several of his friends joined us and they were able to watch their football (read: soccer) match and enjoy the time.

I looked at their website and didn't see pricing for Easter brunch, do you know what it is?

If I remember right, Ballantyne runs at about $40-something/PP.

Try the Pewter Rose. Not sure on price! But it has really nice brunch from what I have heard. May need to book in advanced to guarantee a seat especially for a party of people.

Anyone have any recommendations for the South Park area? I've heard the Marriott is nice, but has anyone had first-hand experience? Any other places?

My in-laws will be visiting us from the northeast, and they still think Charlotte is the same place they knew in the 70's, so I'm always looking for nice places to take them. Plus they're paying!
