Has anyone heard of a new neighborhood called Millbridge in Union County? I went on their website, but it doesn't even say who the builder is. I was wondering if anyone has visited that neighborhood and what their thoughts were. Thanks.

Not the greatest of lots and seems overpriced......one of the builders is Ryland and the same home you can get cheaper @ Lawson. But like almost every subdivision in Union....it will sell!

U2man thanks for such a quick response! Do you know who the other builders are? How are the lots in comparision to Lawson. I'm flying up this weekend to buy a house. I'm probably buying in Lawson, but I was curious about this other new neighborhood. I figured that I would check out Millbridge and Hollister before I sign on the dotted line. I love Lawson, but I want to make sure that I'm making the right decision.

I have heard that there are going to be several builders in there, Ryland being one of them. I spoke to the Ryland person that is going to be one of their onsite agents in Millbridge and he told me that Ryland is preselling in there right now. He also told me that they will be officially opening in the summer and that land was farmland previously, so not a lot of wooded lots. As always, let me know if I can help further

In doing some research for my job about a year ago, I got to see the planning information for this development. The initial phase was going to be built near the new Kensington Elementary School, but eventually, that development was going to be HUGE, pretty much covering from Twelve Mill Creek all the way to Highway 75 in Waxhaw, and from Waxhaw-Marvin Rd to the SC border. My understanding was that some of the homes in there would be as high as $1 M. I'm not sure just how far along they are for now, but that area will absolutely be changing drastically.

Smile Millbridge Info

I too did some research on Millbridge in Waxhaw. My family and I took a drive out there this weekend.

They have updated their website www.millbridgenc.com.

We also were able to speak with the Sales Agents out there from Mattamy Homes. They are finally on site!! They were great and it looks like they will be in our price point!!

I believe they are about to begin selling any day now. We are just sitting back and waiting.

The website for Mattamy is www.mattamylistening.com (broken link) this will get you to the Millbridge information.

Good Luck and maybe we will be neighbors!!!!

I see 'airnasium' is part of the planned amenities. What is an airnasium?
