The Candy Factory, Uptown Lexington - Candies, Chocolate, Peppermints, Mallo Cups, Sugarfree, Nostalgic Candy, Retro Candy The candy you are referencing that is red white striped is called Red Bird it is made in Lexington as well.
My late dad use to live a few blocks away from that store and you can guess where I would spend my allowance

I hope everyone has a great christmas this year and a great new year coming up.
even if things are sky high right now and even if we may get attacked again-
tho hopefully not-
this holiday season can be a good one ,
if we would really ,really keep in mind what it is really about.

What is up with all of these consecutive days with #@%*ing fog?!?!?!?!? Granted it's not the snow that they're supposed to be getting back north but come on!!!

We have a huge snow storm headed this way - YAH
Hope we get 4 or 5 feet!
I won't be sying that in late February - willjust be counting the days til spring

Charlotte area doesnt get much snow if any from west to east type storms.
The mountains generally absorbs most of the storm in that type pattern.
The ones that we have generally received big snows are the ones that get a low pressure with a mix of moisture from the gulf.
