I just filled up @ Shell @ Arboretum.
87 only, $3.89, approx 20 minute wait.

I highly recommend watching A Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash.

this may have already been answered, but how are the stations around Rock Hill? Does anyone know if most of them are out of gas as well? I have to go out that way later and it would be nice to know before hand if i'm going to have to will my car back to charlotte

Blanchard's on Carmel Rd has gas, but is limiting to $25 purchases. Better than nothing but lines were already forming. They just received in a shipment this morning. Line was about a block long . . .

I find it rather ironic that parts of NC even as only far north as Greensboro have no problem. I understand there are certain pipelines that come into Charlotte, which had the not so amazing foresight to put in additional storage at the fueling station. But come on can't they bring some of Greensboro's supplies in?

And oh, of course Raliegh is a-ok....well that's according to the newscasters on Charlotte's channels...you know the newcasters that keep saying don't worry until you only have 1/4 of a tank left, and again "help and relief is on the way" uh....yeah, right.

Not too well, because many North Carolinians drove there too for gas. Those other drivers had the same idea as you do. But like another poster said, just call a station.

taking the stopper out of the sink and putting it in another sink isnt going to solve anything

I don't know about G'boro's situation. But I would suspect if they would "share" w/ CLT . . . then G'boro would be out of gas, LOL.

The shortage spreads all the way to the NE of our state, into Burke, Watauga, Avery, Caldwell, etc. This problem in that region of the state is in part b/c those are mostly independent gas stations, so they have no "pull" w/ getting gas such as the distributors to the big companies have. Those independent stations are like a second tier w/ distribution.

i filled up my metro 7:30 AM at the circle K in front of trader joes on mallard creek church rd. no line at the time but was very busy. when i left there were like 2 cars waiting.

so far all i have heard about is getting gas but dont seem to hear about conserving fuel. my wife has been home with our 1 month old son and didnt leave the house all week so i felt bad and took her to the mall so she could make some returns (and get out of the house). the place was packed! i havent heard a whole lot about people slowing down their "busy" lives for a few weeks til the fuel that they are entitled to is back in full supply. there was time in this country when things didnt come so easily and they still dont in others. maybe we should be thankful that this year we have water.

im not saying this about everyone but i have seen alot of this lately
