Hi everyone! This is the first time for me in the Charlotte forum.......I have to say that list of things going on at my favorite time of the year, nice! We have been thinking of moving to Greenville, SC, nice friendly people and the downtown is great. We live in FL and want out. We want cooler weather and have the four seasons.
How would I be able to compare at all? We have not visited Charlotte but have heard now nice it is and opportunity for jobs.

Would really appreciate some feedback....I am in finance and my DH is in the automotive parts business. I work for a finance company in the sub prime auto world and he works for a auto dealership in the parts dept. Are these good areas to find jobs in Charlotte? Hopefully, the economy is not as bad as in Fl. We want to be close to restaurants and shops but at the same time not be in the middle of the action.

Thanks for helping us make a better decision!

I was wondering where it came from - that's the only thread I haven't looked at all afternoon

Don't know anything about Greenville, but, I know that the subprime industry on the whole...cars, houses, etc. is pretty much dead here in Charlotte. In fact, getting a job in finance at this point in time will be really difficult. Many people have been laid off in that field in the last 6 months and competition is fierce.

Don't know about auto parts however....
