Hey everyone,

I am new to the area and in order to meet some new people, I was looking into joining an adult men's basketball league, bowling league or kickball league. Does anybody have information or interests in all three or any of them? Let me know if ya'll have the same interests in joining one. Thank you in advance for your advice.

Check out:

For bowling, most decent lanes will run leagues during the winter (Sept through May) and Summer (June through Aug). Just look up a bowling alley in your area... AMF normally runs decent centers (they have a good one in Matthews if that's close to you). On the north side of town, Northcross Lanes in Huntersville is pretty nice and has a bunch of leagues.

I know that Interlink definitely does basketball/kickball. I believe all the kickball leagues are co-ed. When you sign up you can sign up as an individual and they put all the individuals together to make teams. As for the bowling..as someone said most alleys have leagues. I know someone that is in a league Wed nights at the Park Rd bowling alley(well its off Monteford but i think its called Park something or other bowling)

PS..I really like Interlink. Even if you don't do sports through then I would sign up for their mailing list. I did Field Day with them (as an individual) and met a whole bunch of people. They send e-mails out for events periotically.
