Hello
We are a British family relocating to Mooresville ,hopefully later this year. I am a Registered Nurse.
I am aware of quite a few hospitals in the area but would like to get some sort of handle on what they are like to work in .
I have experience in lots of areas as I am a bit of an "old bird"!!!. Currently I work in acute stroke (I know incidence of stroke in NC is higher than national average) but also have intensive care experience.
I will probably have to go in at the bottom as everyone keeps telling me how different nursing is in the US compared to herE in the UK.

Hope someone can help me out here.

There are a few hospitals in the area. You have Lake Norman Regional that is in Mooresville, The new Presbyterian thats in Huntersville then a good few in Charlotte but the drive prob. a little longer during rush hour.

Why Mooresville? Many other places: Statesville, Hickory, Concord, Winston-Salem.... Great acute care facilities... As for practice as a RN, you definitely need to go here ASAP: http://www.ncbon.com/ As for "bottom" depends. You may not get days, but experience does count.
