I guess I’m not only talking about Charlotte but the whole entire state places that are very close to Charlotte even the suburbs and research triangle are their any great places for zip lining, caving, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, swimming holes, snow tubing in the winter, skiiing/snowboarding? Off road dirt biking and Quad 4x4 racing? I also like snowmobiles to ride not sure if their is a place to do that in North Carolina as well I am really an adventurous type of person. I also like Sky Diving/bungee jumping. Not sure if North Carolina is a great place for these type of outdoor activities because I’ve never been their.

Best to do a search of those activities using Charlotte as a base.

Just off the top of my head:

Whitewater center
Linville Caverns
Blue Ridge Parkway
Pisgah, Uhwarrie, Nantahala, Chattahooche, and Cherokee National Forest (tons of hiking, camping and recreational areas from North east of Boone, NC to Southeast of Asheville, NC))
Lots of motorhome/tent parking areas dotting Western North Carolina that have electrical hook ups, and usually swimming of some sort.
Beech Mt, Sugar Mt, Hawks Nest (hiking, skiing, snowboarding Mt biking, zip lines, tubing trips)
Lake Norman (water sports of all kinds)

There are numerous walking and biking trails in the CLT area. Also, there is a large all terrain vehicle vehicle park approximately 30 miles south in S.C. Carowinds Theme Park is 10 miles south. There are several lakes in the area.
