My husband will be seeing a new client in the Wesley Chapel/Waxhaw area and will take Marvin road from 521. The client said she does not know if the bridge under construction is now open. Does any one have any information regarding this bridge?
Well Marvin Road turns into New Town Rd and the bridge on New Town Rd past Crane Road is being replaced. I'm not sure if it is finished yet, but if it isn't, he can take Crane Road to Rea Road to Providence Road to 84.
Thanks, nyx...he was told that Providence Rd before Ardrey was being widened, and we knew first hand when we lived near that area how horrendous traffic was in that area without construction. so he was trying to avoid the 485 route to Providence. Don't know how far down the construction is if it is all the way to 84. I'll have him check out the map on this route. Thx again!

They are widening Providence from 485 to Rea Road, so yes it will go past 84. They have just started to grade and clear trees, no impact to the actual road yet so he should be ok to go that way.
As of this past Sunday the bridge was still out. There are detour signs.
