"One day after facing intense scrutiny for his unorthodox move, Carolina Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he remains satisfied with his decision to bench star quarterback Cam Newton for a dress code violation."
I know Catholic Grade Schools that are more flexible than Rivera.
You would think for a $120 million contract, he could at least be appreciative enough to not be a dick and just comply. He gets all the glory as a quarterback, he should set an example (good example.)
Laughable. I wonder if this type would apply if they were winning. Apparently this wasn't the first time it happened either. I don't have a problem with discipline but this seems a little late.
If Rivera had stones he would sit Cam for his awful outfits after games.
He said in the press conference, bags, where packed and checked, could not find a shirt in his size, understandable, or tie.
Oh baloney! If he can't think ahead enough to leave out a tie and shirt before he checks his bags, then he has bigger issues.
