I finally moved into Charlotte this week. I'm interested in taking some courses at a community college. I found the Central Piedmont Community College online (that's the only one I found), but it's a bit far from where I live, and I can't see what they offer. Are there other community colleges
around, especially ones that teach investing and or psychology.

Thanks
Central Piedmont Community College is a GREAT school! Their main location may be far from you if you don't live near uptown, but they have several satellite campus's around town - surely one is near you? They have over 45,000 students and are highly regarded in this area. They also offer many programs of study, maybe you just need to get a catalog to see the varied course selection.
Great resource to find local community colleges
If you decide on CPCC and decide on a sattlelite office make sure check to see if they offer the courses you desire. For instance the North Campus primarily teaches law enforcement classes.

North Carolina is nationally recognized for its wonderful community college system! Something for everyone . . . reasonable tuition, and counselors who bend over to help you w/ scheduling as well as financing options. Check out Sunny's link - and go talk to Admissions counselors and see what is out there for you! Good luck!
CPCC has been ranked as the #1 community college in the country. You will have to wait a year of living in NC to get the resident tuition rate though. There are CPCC campuses and classes all over town and online.

Do you know if we pay out of state 1st year, will we be eligible for in state tuition next year?
