Hello!
We are relocating to Mooresville, NC next month.
I have a 4 year old and am looking for recommendations on preschools in the area.

Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Mom'n'Aar
you may already be here; but if you are still looking, here are a few that I recommend. I did tours with another client in the fall, and most have had their registration, so you may have a bit of trouble getting in. We attended Peninsula Baptist for both of my children, and had a wonderful experience. Good luck!

Peninsula Baptist
Williamson Chapel
Lowes YMCA

We had our son at Chesterbrook Academy off exit 33 for a couple of years and really enjoyed it. Good luck!

Thank you Carlaagnini and Wolf Howl for your inputs. Will surely consider these schools.

My son went to Williamson Chapel and had a great experience there. Others to consider that some of my neighbors sent their kids to and had positive reviews were Primrose School and the Goddard School (I think both of these are a good bit more expensive then the 3 listed above.

Thank you arnoldti for your input. I contacted Williamson Chapel but the seats are already full. Any reviews about the Lowes YMCA preschool?

One of my clients moved here in December, and had the same problem with spots already taken. She enrolled in Lowes YMCA and Loves it for her son. She says the class size and teachers are perfect. We are members of that Y, and use the facilities often, such a nice place.

We moved to NC in January 2011 and most of the pre-schools were full for the Jan-May time period then. We enrolled our son at Rocky Mount UMC Preschool, it is north of Mooresville on Perth Rd, for that half year before we got into Williamson Chapel. We liked Rocky Mount a lot as well - only issue was the longer drive every day (about 15 minutes).
