Im seeing some new listings for some pretty cheap - new houses in the "Harris Crossing" subdivision in Mooresville (2300 sq ft/2 car garage for $169,000) but no pics yet.....Are these regular houses - if so, why so cheap?? or are they manufactured/trailer homes??? Showing zip is 28115 - would that still be Mooresville schools??
It also says: Craft Homes Usa

Another one is showing up as 2800 sq ft for $189,000????

Any info would be helpful,
Thanks,
Jodi

I am in WI now - but thinking about moving to Mooresville this summer - want to come down @ April to check out houses/jobs. So I keep up with the homes for sales and these were 2 of them I just got:
Details of Listing #738742 in Mooresville (http://www.wilkinsonandassociates.com/mls/738742 - broken link)
Details of Listing #738744 in Mooresville (http://www.wilkinsonandassociates.com/mls/738744 - broken link)

Yes, the sub would be Mooresville schools. Not sure about how they are built. But, there are several communities in the LKN area who sell homes in the 100000 bracket. Anyway, it is off of Highway 3, which is pretty rural. (can't tell from the map I found exactly how far out it is) Not much that way but the DEI shop. Sorry I can't help you more, but I don't get out that far

This community was supossed to be a Lennar Community, but the developer tried to wrangle them for more $$ so they left. As for the new builder, a friend went there last week and said that the homes are VERY plain on the outside and strange floorplans. You have to go all the way to Gastonia to see anything... Be wary as they aren't a builder that has been around here and has a reputation to count on.

" Be wary as they aren't a builder that has been around here and has a reputation to count on."

Your right! I am wary of that.....
of course the salesperson told me they are a "new/old company" - thier part is new - but because they are a part/spin off of Craft Homes.....
(but I am not familiar with Craft homes myself either).....

I was wondering about the quality of work.....
If anyone has seen thier models in person - pls let me know what you think....

Thanks,
Jodi
