based on that criteria????? what community?
Have you looked at Belmont & Cramerton? Schools there were stabilized by adding Stephen Cramer HS. If you haven't read the threads on Union County tax increases & school redistricting you should. Then make an informed decision on your priorities of wants & needs.

Brookhaven is going on 10 yrs. old. Located next to Antioch ES, many parents walk their kids to school. Zoned Weddington Middle/High. Many young families, has top shelf amenities, Jr. Olympic pool, water slide, lazy river, 2nd largest pool in UC (Monroe Aquatic is largest). Tennis courts, full basketball court, exercise facility, large clubhouse, walking paths, swing set. Neighbors are very social, Brookhaven swim team, tennis lessons and USTA tennis team leagues (mostly women). Strong HOA with committed volunteers. HOA reserve money very high/~$500k and reasonable HOA dues. There are around 520 homes and I believe the last homes recently were built out. I find the Siskey Y located a couple miles away also a great asset to living here. I saw recent realtor report showing homes up for sale average 60 days or less on market. There are many young kids in neighborhood. We have lived here 10 years and have been very happy. I work out of home and fly 2-3/month and find it easy commute to CLT.
