Question for the fellow members that live here.

What is going on with the house at 14703 Lyon Hill? Last Friday the windows were taken out and the gas line dug up. Today the counters, etc were taken out.
Last month there was a letter sent to me about a problem with the house being to close to the road. Centrex was asking to have this house excepted from the set-back rules. Looks like they are taking this house down. Anyone have any info? Thanks

Centex was going for a variance from the town because it's too close to the street. Town of Huntersville said no and now they are tearing it down and rebuilding it further back on the lot.

Thanks for the reply. They should make it a common area. That house is going to look out of place if it's set back further in the lot. I guess it's all about money though....

Wow, interesting. I have been looking at that area and my realtor suggests it. I am still biding my time though.

Agreed. It's a great community. Centex was just trying to pull a fast one over the town and got caught. Glad to see it's getting resolved since I have not seen any activty at that lot since before June and was wondering what the heck was going on.
