Tons of rides, weeklyrides is your best bet Saturday , also look at CABA (Charlotte area bike alliance). There is also ride out of Belmont on Sunday ~2:30p preparing for the Polar Bear Ride with the Gaston County Cyclists.
WeeklyRides.com is all you need. That part of town is where the majority of cyclist go on the weekend so even if you go by yourself, you will not be alone for long.
