My first time at the Bobcat arena is fast approaching and I never really checked on the location or area in Charlotte this is in. I am going to saturday nights concert w/James Blunt and was wondering if someone happened to get lost is it a place you can ask for directions? Can a person feel safe walking to the parking lot alone? Thanks for the help

you should be ok... Remember your not going to be the only one there and you probably will park with the crowd.

Let us know what you think of the arena, I'm sure I will be attending games there.

Well in IMHO of the arenas I've been to, Miami Heat Arena, Boston Garden (now another name I can't remember), Madison Sq Garden, the Bobcat arena was by far very safest I felt. In Miami there were times you had to pay someone to watch your car(, that was years ago, don't know if that's the case anymore). The family and I went there for the Ringling Bros circus in Feb. and it was a blast. Lots of familys, kids, etc. We felt very safe, it's well lit outside and the parking was open. This was in Feb. maybe the conditions have changed since I was there.

I actually work their (it's only been a week though ) I have felt pretty safe so far. Went to our first game Friday night and quite a few police around. We parked in the parking structure that has like big shimmery sequins on it, their is also one right next to arena (I think BofA structure) and a few single lots in front. It is absolutely beautiful inside, nice & clean (well it is new). Have fun at the concert. Eric Clapton is playing next Tuesday. Go Bobcats!
