Would someone please let me know if they are going to change one of the Harris Teeters in Corenlius to a Trader Joes? Also, what is the status of the Whole Food grocery stores that are proposed for the Charlotte area? Thanks
Whole Foods has announced three or four different locations for Charlotte during the past several years---each one of them always fell through. I think the truth is, WHole Foods hates competition and when Earth Fare got to Charlotte first it greatly discouraged them.

Yes, but Whole Foods will probably buy Earth Fare as they have with the rest of their competition.
I dont care for TJ's at all. They have no mission statement and you can end up with some pretty crappy stuff in there. That's not to say they don't have good things, they just have too many "bad" ones as far as ingredients go.
OH NO!Wasn't there a Whole Foods being built in Elizabeth? I bought in First Ward because Whole Foods would be in approximity. How far is Earth Fare from East 6th?
I never heard anything about a Whole Foods in Elizabeth. A TJ's will open in Midtown near the new Target, there is a Home Economist Market on South Blvd and a Talley's on East Blvd. Earth Fare is near South Park mall, so not really convenient from Elizabeth.
