Hotel for Panthers/Bobcats game (Charlotte, Stonewall: hotels, college, garden)

All, I plan to travel to Charlotte for a Bobcats and a Panthers game next month. Are the two stadiums in walking distance of each other and what are some centrally located hotels?

The two venues are about a mile apart, maybe a 20-minute walk. There are plenty of hotels within easy walking distance of both.

The Panthers stadium is at Mint & Stonewall, the arena is at Trade & College.

There's Hilton Center City, that's probably your best bet in terms of something close to both.

There's also the Hilton Garden Inn, which is closer to the football stadium.
