Heard a rumor a couple weeks back that Trader Joes was landing in Indian Trail in the Sun Valley area. Anybody confirm? Makes sense but rumors about that shopping center have had everything from a Carrabbas to a Chick-fil-a and neither of those seem likely.

I can't imagine a Trader Joe's there. Trader Joe's tends to be more urban. I could see a Trader Joe's going up in Weddington, but not Indian Trail. Same with Carrabbas, it wouldn't do well either.

The only Coming Soon store they have listed is in Winston-Salem: Trader Joes.

I doubt they would open one in Weddington when they already have one in Ballantyne and weddington is pretty isolated from the rest of the market. There is one way out in University City, which is probably a similar demographic as Indian Trail. So I guess it's possible.

They are building an Aldi on Hwy 74 at Wesley Chapel Rd. But Traders in Indian Trail is not likely. Not their demographic. I still chuckle when someone posted that maybe "fine dining" might come to Sun Valley after the Movie Theater opens up.
