I've never taken a yoga class and would like to start. I'm also interested in Pilates. I do not belong to a YMCA and am looking for classes (not too pricey!) in the Ballantyne, Blakeney, Waxhaw area. Any recommendations?

This will probably be your cheapest.
Anytime Fitness Gyms Charlotte, North Carolina Fitness Centers Charlotte

The Y monthly fee is very affordable if you are going to be paying for drop in classes. They also offer a sliding scale fee, based on income.

I encourage my kids to do yoga and other core strengthening exercises all the time!

If I had known back when I was their age (20's) how fabulous yoga could be for your body I'd be in much better shape right now myself!

I know the Peaceful Dragon has been one popular place in south Charlotte to take classes over the years.

Hope you find a class you like

I had a yoga instuctor recently tell me that they usually suggest newcommers start at the Y since there is a wide range of experience levels in the class and they provide modifications and suggestions for the new class participants to try.
