Just curious how long you all sit in traffic getting to work, so I thought I would create a poll.

To work takes about 45 minutes, unless I get behind a school bus (grrr).
Home takes about 55 minutes.

Default Charlotte traffic vs Calif traffic

After what I sat in here this morning, I know we made the right choice.
It took me 45 min to go the whole 12 miles to work today and it it isn't getting any better. (this would be here in Calif)
I was in Charlotte for the first day of school and they kept on showing the traffic cam saying " it's starting to load up....." and my husband and I laughed
Not that Charlotte isn't having growing pains and most I'm sure aren't use to the traffic, nothing is worse than California and I'll be glad to leave it behind.

My husband's commute into NYC used to be 55-65 minutes, door to door (on a good day). Now it is 10 minutes, sometimes less.
He wakes up happy.

It's 18 miles, so that's right about 30-35 minutes in the AM and a bit less in the PM.
