Hello CD! Haven't posted on here in a bit, but I know where to go for solid suggestions.

I am celebrating 5 happy years with my fiance next week and we have planned to have dinner at Chima's. We loved it in Florida and hope the experience is the same. But we want to do something before or after dinner that isnt "typical". No movies, no walk in the park.. something out of the box.

He suggested scarowinds- though I am such a wimp its not my idea of a great night.
I would love to find an ultimate driving experience type thing to do, as we both love cars. Even something outdoorsy would do, but im looking for a little excitement. We rarely go out, especially while having a babysitter, so I am open minded. I drink socially, he doesnt drink at all, so breweries etc are out. We want to stay local, so no trips.

Suggestions please??

Thanks in advance!

I realize you said no travel, but you are just over an hour away from the US BMW Performance Driving School.
People travel from around the country for the M school and other single or multi-day classes.

That was a great idea until I saw the cost! $1450 for a day of driving?! cough, cough. Holy crap, that just isnt right. For that I could go on a sweet weekend cruise for both of us! But wow, that sure does look like fun. Keep the suggestions coming. That might have to wait to be a wedding gift or something.
