Hi all. I was just down in charlotte (matthews actually) for a Job interview (wish me luck). I have been basically looking for positions within the Matthews area since it would be closer to home, however, I want to be open to working uptown. I'm wondering what's the commute like from the Union Cty (Indian Trail to be exact) to Uptown(downtown, whatever it's called). Would the 485 be better or worse? Thanks in advance.

We live in Indian Trail, DH works in Uptown....during NON rush hour (he works 6-330 usually) it's about 35 min, once he gets to his car.....add 10 or so for him to walk to the car from where he parks.

I am in Indian Trail and work uptown/downtown...whatever .

I work 9am to 6pm. Depending on traffic it takes me 35-45 mins barring accidents or anything.
