Hi all-
I will be moving to So.Meck in Nov and I was wondering where are the local Junior colleges are.
I'm thinking of going back to get a degree as an x-ray tech and need to find out if the local colleges offer this program.
Thanks in advance

We don't have junior colleges here - we have a state wide community college system. Google Central Piedmont Community College here in Charlotte for info - it's a great school and very affordable compared to university tuition. Good luck!

The local community college - Central Piedmont - offers rad tech as does Rowan-Cabarrus. However, there are many pre-reqs and not everyone who applies is accepted to these programs. So, get your state residency (1 year) and apply; tuition can be $$$$. Good luck.

You're right - I should have said it's only really affordable if you are an established resident (1 year).
