We are relocating to the Charlotte area for jobs. My husband keeps leaning towards Moss Creek in Concord. We like the location and have kids and I've heard the schools are good. My questions is, does Moss Creek have a lot of activities (street parties, pool parties, family events, dounuts with Santa, etc) there? We are coming from a wonderful subdivision with all of this and we have so many friends and fun and everyone knows everyone. I know we want the same again but I'm so afraid of being in a neighborhood that it's hard to make friends or people are unfriendly.

Any input into what Moss Creek is like would be appreciated! We want something with activities and fun for the kids and families. Or other suggestions in the Concord/Huntersville area? Our price range is under $250.

I currently live in Moss Creek. Moss Creek does have family events. They also have adult only events. Contact the management company and see if they can send you a PDF copy of the latest community newsletter or if they will let you come by and view the newsletter. They send out a new newsletter each month with the different activities for the month. You can see some of the events at the website below. Moss Creek was able to get enough donations to get free tickets to a Kannapolis Intimidators baseball game for residents.

Here is the Moss Creek website: Moss Creek Village. A residential community in Concord, North Carolina
