My 16yr old is beyond happy that finally a PINKBERRY has opened in Charlotte at Phillips Place. I believe they are opening a second location at the Arboretum in the Fall.

She is off to Pinkberry later today.

Became a huge fan of this yoghurt when visiting Los Angeles.

Why are they better than other yogurt places?

Hey, Just read this and I was at a FroYo place near Lake Norman today. FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafe in Mooresville. It was so amazing. They have a Key Lime FroYo that is sooooo good. I can't wait to go back tomorrow. Check it out if you are near I-77 Exit# 36 - Mooresville

sounds like the TCBY craze from the early 90's.

I am sorry but I can't see the big deal. It is frozen yogart. What makes it special? I saw the facility on the tele and there seemed to be nothing special.

What makes it different from the TCBY of the 80's and 90's is that you help yourself to the yogurt (there are usually 6 - 10 flavors) and the toppings (Alot of fresh fruits, nuts, granola, etc. as well as sweet toppings such as chopped candy bars, oreos, gummy bears, etc. that are displayed in a salad bar type of arrangement) Then the cashier weighs it all and charges you approx. 39 cents per ounce - at least that seems to be the going price at the places I've been to here in Charlotte. It can be pricey - when I take my kids it typically runs about $5 per kid. It's a fun and delicious special treat! My favorite is the vanilla bean yogurt with lots of fresh strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, mango, pineapple and coconut!!
