Anybody heard anything bad about Pulte Builders? I have seen quite a few negatives sites dedicated to this builder, but they seem to be the only "cheap" builder in the Providence school district. I guess you get what you pay for, but I was wondering if anybody has any insight? Thanks!

You may have more options if you go with an existing home instead of new construction. Can you tell us your price range so we can make suggestions?

I have heard it is more about the contractors used for the development...This goes for any builder..

We have purchased a townhome in the last year. I have had so many problems with them. I would not recommend the company based on my experience. I actually had to write to the President in Michigan because I was getting absolutely no help down here. Their contractors use all illegal immigrants that cannot speak English so therefore any work that gets done on your place after move-in is an absolute nightmare! When we asked management of Pulte to document what their actions will be to solve a problem their reply was "absolutely not" - unbelieveable. Try another builder if you can!!

Problem is....MOST builders use illegal immigrants..or workers that CAN'T speak english
Best when building a new house to use a home inspector...Minimum for a pre dry wall, after dry wall, and final..
