The ZIP Code for all of Meadowood Park is 25177, which requires the use of either the official city name Jefferson or Saint Albans. Separately, Meadowood Park is entirely in the Upper Falls Census Designated Place. Meanwhile, the city names for ZIP Code 25202 are Tornado and Upper Falls, however, no part of Meadowood Park is even in ZIP Code 25202. Regardless, Tornado was officially expunged from the map by consensus of the United States Board on Geographic Names, United States Geological Survey and United States Census Bureau in 2011. So, Meadowood Park can legally be said to be in Jefferson, Saint Albans, or Upper Falls. But, the Kanawha County Parks and Recreation Commission claims that Meadowood is in Tornado. Why? A recent Gazette article cited problems with deliveries to Meadowood using the name Tornado. When an emergency occurs at Meadowood Park, wouldn't the inaccurate city name delay emergency responders? Wouldn't the taxpayers of Kanawha County be held accountable to compensate victims who were damaged by this delay?

You'd think do, but most of metro 911 runs off GPS. And plus most emergency persons would know because they are local.

Coal River Group uses the wrong city for their ZIP Code and then complains about not receiving deliveries.
