I know a few of you guys live in Cane Bay like myself, so I thought I would ask - is your cell coverage basically non-existent out here? I have Verizon Wireless and I have to go outside just to maintain a connection. I have Verizion as my carrier and I'm not sure what to do. We are obviously under contract, but we don't get much service out here.

Check your phone. I had a TREO & it wouldn't get a signal in the Sanctuary or Del Webb. I swapped out to a Blackberry & all is right in the world again.

Try doing an update also, call *611 from as close to Cane Bay as you can, then ask them what you need to do to get your phone updated, I believe for Verison the number is *211, but I am not sure.

Not quite Tom, the code is *228. Updating the phone monthly keeps it in touch with nearby cell-sites as they are constantly being updated. Make sure you try it in an area where you have coverage. If that doesn't improve your signal well..you may need a new phone.

I have Verizon and had no problem with reception at Cane Bay's football field.

I was also going to mention the *228.

That will definitely keep you updated as long as you do it every month or so.

Try it, and maybe even call Verizon and see what their thoughts are. I had a problem with my phone before we moved here. When I was at home, I could only get service in my bathroom. Not good. They ended up sending me a new Treo and haven't had a problem yet. KNOCKING ON WOOD!

I have T-Mobile and can use it anywhere's in my house! It helps that our tower is right across the street from the H.S.
