Oh gosh - I grew up on instant tea - and I can even trump that we used saccharine tablets as sweeteners. I can remember now - 4 tablespoons of instant and 13 saccharine - yuck. Actually I'm not sure about the 4 scoops, but am positive on the 13. We weren't rural, but I guess my mom thought it was easier. I didn't know tea any other way for a long, long time.
