I've been browsing this forum for a while with an interest in moving to the area from Maryland. I love the Charleston area. I come to the area about once a month for work and am going to be in town for a week in December. I'm bringing my wife and 6 month old son with me for the trip as well.
My wife and I were interested if there are any mom's groups on Charleston Peninsula or in Mt Pleasant. I'll be working during the day and my wife was interested in meeting some locals. We thought it would be a great way to get a better feel for the area.
I'm a SAHM in Wilmington NC at the moment. We are moving to Charleston in Feb or March. I found Charleston Mommies thru The mommies Network, and also quite a few on Meetup.com.
