WE are moving to Charleston from the DC/MD/VA area very soon - this summer to be exact. We have been looking for a home to rent so that we can get to know the area well until we are ready to buy. We want to be close to Charleston - e.g. I'ON, Belle Hall, Hobcaw, SneeFarm and we would consider other areas around those and in towards Charleston. We would also consider inside Charleston and on the Islands if they are close enough in and good communities.
Ideally we would like to have
4/5 bdrm and 2500+ sq ft
some yard would be nice but if it is I'ON or such like that with amenities, we could forgo a yard for a year for a year
we would like a family friendly community
we would like an area that is well kept and has a lot of charm if possible (trees, etc)
budget is up to 3,500K...we can't find anything!
we have looked downtown but don't understand what areas are safe/family friend with small kids and teenagers
I can email you a list of Mount Pleasant rentals that are on mls. Rentals are very hard to find but..they go fast. I would assume you are not concerned about schools or are doing private if you looked downtown.
