I use prepaid ATT and TMobile smart phones but only use the internet while on any wifi and that is unlimited and free. Also for those who have limited minutes, you can use free calls while on wifi using apps like the one for Magic Jack which you do not even have to have a Magic Jack to use or if you do happen to have a Magic Jack number, then that phone number is also assigned to your app and shows up on peoples caller id's when you call them using that app. I use the app when overseas or on wifi for free calls and so I can make local free calls to the US while outside the US while on any open wifi's or one I have the password for.
Both TMobile and ATT have 1000 minutes a year for $100.
