I have looked at the HTC Incredible, but would like additional advice. I like the 1GB processor and 8MP camera, but are they enough to make this phone better than the rest? My main desire is to find the phone with the best internet browsing capabilities (speed, plug-in compatibility, etc.) and array of useful applications. Durability is also important to me.

Does anyone have experience with any of the smart phones available at Verizon?

Well, it's NOT an LG Versa or ENV, not if web browsing is important. Have been eyeing a Droid, but haven't jumped yet.

If you can hold out until the end of the year Verizon will be getting the Iphone. A friend of mine owns 3 stores and said there's no set date as of yet but they should have them out hopefully between Nov.-Dec.

Thanks for the replies!

Wow, the Motorola DroidX seems more "incredible" than the HTC Incredible. Hmmm, perhaps this is why the HTC Incredible is no longer available at any of the Verizon stores in my region. I was told they would not be restocked until July 23 at the earliest. One significant factor in my comparison of the Droid line with the Apple iPhone is the fact that the Droids support flash browsing, which is critical in my line of work. According to southgeorgia's link, the DroidX will support Flash 10.1, whereas the Incredible only supports Flash Lite 4.0. Too bad this phone is not already on the market, because I would really like to hear some firsthand reviews.

If Gixxer1k's information is correct regarding Apple's apparently imminent collaboration with Verizon (which has been a rumor for months), then can anyone convince me that the iPhone is worth the wait? I am very familiar with the 5th Generation iPod Nano and iTunes.

skyliner, i'd check the flash specs once more.

i thought i remember seeing that flash won't be available until the next android update and the droid x wasn't shipping with it; but its supposed to be available soon.

As of right now i think HTC's with flash lite are the only flash capable phones. but I don't know for sure as I'm a BB user.

I can't wait to get the Droid X. I'm getting it when my contract is up at the end of July.
