Wow, I'm certainly sorry to hear this news. John Hughes wrote and directed some very funny films. Some of my favs were "Home Alone", "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation", and "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles"
