I'm happy for them but wish they did it sooner.

Wonder if Demi will be next to get a surrogate.

I'm actually surprised she hasn't done it yet. Maybe the rumors that she wanted more children were false.

I was watching the news this morning and Joan Lundon was talking about her surrogate in Ohio. She stays in touch with her and is even planning on sending flowers to her for Mother's Day. She said that once her two sets of twins were old enough to understand the whole process of the surrogate, she will tell them.
They mentioned the price was between $30,000 and $60,000. It was mentioned that some health insurance's cover it now.

What do they mean by surrogate? Does that mean some other woman is carrying the babies?

It at the very least means the babies are being carried by someone else. In the case of Sarah Jessica Parker it could also mean that the surrogates eggs or an egg donor was used. You have to wonder why she is using a surrogate if she could do the whole thing herself, she did once before.

I have no problem with surrogacy, I think if you can support them and you love them and want them, then why not.

Thanks for the explanation.

I think SJP is over 40, correct? It might be that she couldn't conceive. That can happen to some women once they reach 40. I'm pretty sure that is Demi Moore's issue.

The article said she is 44. That of course could be the problem but then I always wonder and its none of my business, were they able to use her own eggs or did they use a donor. I have an inquiring mind.
