like it or not these are the people that represent LA to the world, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus
I don't see why they should represent L.A
Kanye is from Chicago, Bieber from Canada, Miley from Nashville,TN
The only L.A native of that group is Kim Kardashian.
Also the Kardashians are kind of an easy target and constantly get dissed , but not everyone can get viewers with reality TV.
There have been tons and tons of Reality TV shows , but the Kardashians have staying power..something to be said for that..
Of course their predecessors were the Osbornes (Ozzy Osbournes and family) .
For the others, just because they might perform in L.A or have a home here doesn't mean they represent L.A
For New York..it's usually Native new yorkers or people that have lived in New York pretty much their whole life that get credit for being "New Yorkers"
Why should someone just be able to blow into town and instantly be viewed as an Angeleno. That's ridiculous!
If Justin Bieber ,Kanye or Miley buy a place to live in NYC , people aren't going to say "They represent NYC".
People like Woody Allen or Robert De Niro are viewed as New Yorkers because they were BORN in NYC>
people don't really care that these people are transplants, they just see them on TMZ being a-holes on the Sunset strip or Beverly Hills and that's all she wrote
