We adopted a second adult cat a couple of months ago, and it's been a real joy watching two cats playing, wrestling and chasing together. I can't think why we waited so long to add to the family, in fact! Here is Col. Snuggledorf:
Funny thing is that the Colonel looks as though he could be a long-lost brother to our other cat, and they behave that way as well. We've even wondered if they might possibly be related, because the new boy was picked up as a stray and we don't really know his origins. He's estimated to be about the same age as Finn, so it's not completely far-fetched. Here's a slightly blurry shot of the boys together, with Col. Snuggledorf on the left and Finn Mac Cumhaill on the right:
