This is the tomcat that lives down the street. He comes to eat our food every few days.

Matilda
She and her family and the inside cats are much happier since she's been outside. I know it's colder, but she never was happy without her momma and her brothers.

Matilda and her mother

Momma cat is so fat. I kind of worry about her because she has difficulty cleaning herself, especially behind her. Hopefully she'll run some of that fat off during the spring. They have buildings to sleep under, so they make it okay. The two toms are fat, but not as fat as their mother. The orange tom from down the street is not well-liked. He bugs Matilda (they've had a few arguments) and I think he crowds the other cats out for food. I don't think he's an actual threat to Matilda or the other cats. He just annoys them. I'm really not sure if I should intervene or not. He's a sweet cat, but kind of selfish. I let Maddie out to chase him away and he started rubbing all over here, so that didn't work.

tempi's first snow dec 26th (we got 18") she refused to go out while it was snowing, but once it was done she was having a blast...stayed out for about 1/2 hour playing before she decided she was cold lol
I have a thing for black cats. Here's mine
Matilda (right after the spaying, that's why her belly was bald)

Mr. Fuzzy

We also had two male tomkittens, but we gave one away. We still have the other. He's a bit skiddish, so he stays outside. So at one time I had four black cats, two gray cats, two tabbies, and one tortoiseshell, but we have one male cat away and one female kitten got hit by a car. So we have seven total right now. The orange tom from down the street also thinks he lives here.

I don't ever need to adopt a cat. They adopt me. I really like all my cats, but black cats especially. I seem to collect them.

Mr. Fuzzy has kind of a Norwegian cat nose, but I'm sure he's a mixed breed of some kind. I also have a Cherokee nose, and I am also a mixed breed.

Your cat is beautiful. I just love black cats for some reason.

My father-in-law's inside/outside cat (they live in farm country in Denmark) gets so fat during winter that he can't fit through his kitty door. Then he loses it all in spring. I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice it's permanent after a few months.

Even though I cannot have a kitty right now I still enjoy seeing all the wonderful kitty pics. I can at least live through everyone else. Those little faces are just too precious.
